Cassack-Khaneh

‘Cassack khaneh’ was built in the 19th century AD during the Gajar dynasty in Tehran. It is located on ‘Mashgh” Square and has gone through many changes and renovations over the years. Recently it was purchased from the military (it had been an army base for many years) by the Art University of Tehran to be used as an art center. The film looks at the architectural history of this national historic building, its renovations and the recent purchase by the Art University.
