This event is an attempt to showcase the artistic abilities of creators—abilities that transcend time and place, and continue to influence and shape society.
“Mask” is a covering to conceal—an ancient and ritual face-covering meant to protect the one who speaks the truth.
The artist’s mask is an object through which the artist expresses and shares their thoughts, opening space for dialogue.
The exhibition “The Artist’s Mask” is an opportunity for participants to embody their concerns in artistically crafted face-coverings—creating new possibilities for dialogue within society.
