Daargoun 7

A branch, or perhaps several, severed from a plum tree, fallen in the garden. With its thick skin and scars. Perhaps it had dried, or maybe it was a pruned piece from the tree. Ultimately, it faced death and oblivion. Either it decayed or was consumed by flames. Yet, within its knotted form, I saw the image of beauty. By carving and scraping its rugged skin, its enchanting patterns emerged. I stood it on a cedar trunk, allowing it to fulfill its destiny, and placed a branch beside it, like a child. The cedar trunk, the plum branch, and the child transcended from oblivion to nobility, becoming eternal. Now, the fertile mother and her child will grow, even if only in our dreamy picture.
