They lay buried beneath the sands of the sea shore, each with its own tales, each detached from its origin. One was a stem, the other a root. I cleansed them both from mud, salt, and pollution. I placed them on the beautiful page cut from a walnut tree, so they may engage in an eternal conversation with each other.
